In spite of my imminent geographical move from Indiana (Indianapolis area)to Illinois (Chicago area), I would like to continue working productively in the healthcare arena as a bilingual (English-Spanish) nurse (RN), preferably in a setting where I can be a vital part of a team without losing the freedom-autonomy necessary to be the excellent caregiver to my patients that they need (& to which I’ve grown accustomed to being). While I am very proficient at the more clerical, detailed & data-centered aspects of nursing (& do not mind accomplishing tasks in these areas), I excel at communicating & interacting directly with my patients & their families, & no more so than when teaching them what they need to know in order to correctly & safely care at home for their children/themselves.
