My career objective is to continue my career in special education as a teacher or administrator in a program that provides a quality education and opportunities for students with disabilities. My experience of more than 20 years in this field has provided me with opportunities to work with students at all levels, elementary, middle school and high school as well as to act as Special Education Department Chair and Case Manager for a high school of 900 students. I am familiar with federal and state regulations for special education and am proficient in the IEP process and writing and implementing the IEP. I would enjoy the opportunity to apply my expertise in working with students and other professionals involved in this field.
