I am a seasoned, hands on Fluid power/Hydraulic/Controls/Mechanical professional with a sound academic background and extensive experience in hydraulic circuit design, component selection of hydraulic systems, Electro-hydraulic control and modeling, Simulation, Pneumatics, Mechanical Maintenance, Electrical drives, Transmission and motion control, Control system and automation, Integrated engineering and Project management. I have just completed my MS in Fluid power engineering from the University of Bath, United Kingdom. The university is a pioneer in fluid power applications and innovation in the field of hydraulic systems in the world. In addition to my education, I have worked as an Assistant Manager in the Hydraulic and pneumatics maintenance department of Hot Strip Mill, JSW Steel Limited, India for a period of 5 years. My profile consisted of hydraulic circuit design and control strategies for specific purposes in the mill, handling and maintenance of hydraulic systems and procurement and management of hydraulic and pneumatic spares, Automation and simulation, Hydraulic pump maintenance, Proportional and servo valves maintenance, expertise in filtration and lubrication systems and hydraulic cylinders.
