(Montessori) TRANSLATOR FOR SHRINER'S HOSPITAL FOR CHILDREN -TAMPA UNIT - for all the Departments and I also participated in many Public Relations functions in and outside the Hospital. I provided translations and Interpretation services for local and International Patients for all Spanish-speaking patients and their families in accordance with all official medical procedures and hospital policies. I corresponded with foreign embassies to secure visas and travel requirements were in order for all our patients and their families. I coordinated travel and lodging with airlines, hotels, and transportation agencies for foreign-based patients. I was in contact with Shriners Offices in other countries to coordinate the dates for the International patients surgery dates and length of stay at the hospital. I developed, translated and maintain Spanish copies for all hospital polices and manuals as well as all the surgery procedures. I represented the Shriner's Hospital for Children to all Spanish media, including national-level radio and television (Univision) for local and International TV. I was in charge of the advanced education for 150 pre-school and Kindergarten Children and for the staff. As a team we coordinated all the functions and Kindergarten Graduations. I trained and consulted education programs and support the staff. *I maintained all personnel and medical records by law for all the students and staff. The Montessori School was in 1st Place for Hillsborough County in maintaining perfect records. *I conducted all accounting services including accounts payable and receivable monthly taxes and bi-weekly payroll.
