Through the role of a physician assistant student, I have acquired clinical skills, medical knowledge, and fortified the ethics necessary to serve as a competent medical practitioner. My background in orthopedics and sports medicine has been enhanced through my position as a Certified Athletic Trainer within the Sports Medicine and Athletic Related Trauma Institute at the University of South Florida, as well as the Graduate Assistant Certified Athletic Trainer position held at James Madison University. My well-rounded experiences in the physician assistant program have been rewarding and I am prepared to pursue medical practice in an orthopedic surgery setting, nurtured by a group of healthcare professionals possessing similar enthusiasm for the implementation of patient care.
