I retired early from the Post Office.I never liked it there and it was not a good fit for me. I am detail oriented. This allowed me to survive and even thrive there. After I started there, I started to attend paralegal school in the evenings. I enjoyed the school and the coursework, and graduated with a 96% average. I interviewed for paralegal jobs, but I stayed with the Postal Service in hopes of using my education there. That did not work out so well. I retired at the end of September 2006.I took a few months off. In December I decided to try Aflac. I got my insurance license.I've worked in Aflac since the first of the year. I am on total commission. No salary and it's not working out so well for me here. I need a new position. I thought maybe I can get into paralegal work now. Perhaps someone will see my potential and give me a chance.I know I can do this type of work if given a chance.
