Description
My professional experience is based on senior level duties with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) and the Joint Warfare Analysis Center (JWAC). This combination of experience has given me a valuable perspective in both Counter-Drug (CD) and Counter-Terrorism (CT) fields. I have worked in various inter-agency environments and have multiple international deployments to diverse and dynamic theaters of operation. I have hands-on knowledge of investigative, sociological and intelligence tools and techniques needed to solve complex problem sets at the tactical, operational and strategic levels. As an intelligence research specialist and international relations specialist, I have supported successful actions in our current theaters of operation with tangible results documented in citations and awards. I hold a masters degree in education from the University of Virginia and am a certified DOJ instructor with platform time at both the FBI and DEA academies in Quantico, Virginia as well as global training missions with international training teams. My leadership experience includes unit chief, team lead and training program coordinator. In the field of academics, I have successfully conceived, designed and implemented basic to advanced training programs to meet specific requirements for national and international police and military agencies. I am currently on assignment in Afghanistan with Raytheon as a Senior Training and Development Specialist. My professional goal is to continue to work at an international level with a focus on counter-terrorism and counter-drug (narco-terrorism) efforts. I am seeking an opportunity to work with a strong team in support of your corporate as well as our national security mission.
