To acquire a full-time position within the mechanical engineering field

Dear Recruiter, I am writing to indicate my keen interest in the full time position with your organization. I am a Mechanical Engineering Graduate Student of Texas A&M University, Kingsville and I had earlier had my Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering from the prestigious University of Lagos Nigeria. I also obtained Project Management Certification in May, 2013 .I just graduated as a Mechanical engineer from Texas A&M University, Kingsville in May 2013. I had worked part time as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Texas A&M Kingsville. My job function involved teaching undergrads experimental procedures and analysis in Heat Transfer and Fluid Mechanics Lab; as well as assist Professors in fluid mechanics and heat transfer system design and course work grading. I recently concluded a research in 3dimensional printing with functionally graded materials. Upon the completion of my bachelor’s degree, I worked at Mobil Producing Nigeria (Exxon). Therein, I was involved in performance analysis on operation equipment/machines to maximize down-time and breakdown. I also provided operations on well testing, production data analysis, and production logging activities from design through analysis. I carried out Compressor Maintenance/ Reservoir pump Repairs and general offshore maintenance duties. I enforced safety operations and promote HSA awareness within offshore facilities I am proficient in SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, FORTRAN and Matlab. I enjoy meeting people and my forte is in selling technical ideas and interest to people. I am an ever ready to learn individual, increasing my skills and expertise thereby. I possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills and also have the capacity to work in an immensely challenging and multicultural environment.
