Transportation Researcher - PHD candidate - Chicago

My career goal is to become a competent aviation researcher, who is capable of identifying critical problems and providing creative solutions and fresh insights through rigorous scientific research, to contribute to the better understanding and continuous development of the aviation system. I am fascinated by aviation research not only because of the importance of air transport in meeting the ever growing demands of people for mobility and accessibility, but also due to the interdisciplinary nature of the many problems facing the aviation system. Curiosity is part of my nature. I am always eager to see the unseen, investigate the unwritten, and explore the unknowns. In the course of my application to the internship/job at this organization, I have increasingly realized that the opportunity I get there will just be an ideal opportunity to satisfy my curiosity, and an important springboard for my long-term career.
