Highlights:
Through the use of a methanol monitoring system, it was found that Thermo Fisher Scientific's suppler could not maintain its own quality requirements. A new methanol provider was selected to meet the companies specific needs. This saved manufacturing from bringing the complete UV detectors line down. The helium gas delivery line had severe leakage problems after secondary additions were added to the system. The work would go on for a period of 18 to 24 months. The staging work implemented with the helium ordering and storage had to be continuosly monitored during this process. There was no down time.Companies I like:

Responsibilities
To introduce hardware and software products to market for HPLC and HPLC/MS. Use chemistry as a background along with computers to get new technologies to customers to meet their companies requirements.
Be able to interface with marketing and manufacturing, as a researcher to gets products to market on time as a ISO 9000 company. As a Lab Manager, keep the laboratory operational. The lab must have the proper basic chemicals and equipment in house along with any special tools needed for projects. There must be coverage for pre and post projects along with projects in operation. There needs to be at minimum, weekly and a monthly staff meetings to keep the various projects on time or adjust schedules. Be sure all ISO 9000 documentation is being done as applies to the Project Binder.
