I have a continuing program of research, in the laboratory and in the field. I'm working for my Masters, and already have five credits. I also have 7 credits in a related field of social service. The job is one of the most demanding in the humanities, and I often work 14-18 hours a day. The job is more challenging than most run-of-the-mill careers and the rewards are more of satisfaction than just money. I manage four lab assistants and have an experimental model in the Child Development program that is working on new vocal patterns and varying life skills. I am also in charge of supplying all needed materials, managing the schedules of the lab assistants, coordinating with two other research facilities, managing the budget of this facility and overseeing the research and development papers that must be turned in to other managers. I also manage storage of documentation of research and design presentation of materials for public view.
