FMLA Coordinator (Human Resources) 2003-2004
Provided Family and Medical Leave Act (FLMA) administration and ensured compliance for approximately 2,032 employees in the Orlando District; maintained knowledge of the legislation, including all federal regulations, policies, and procedures. Managed, tracked, and reviewed case files, monitoring absences and medical documentation for eligibility. Certified workforce (including office managers and supervisors) awareness of regulations; conducted training and educational sessions as well as resolved employee issues. Established and maintained relationships with the Department of Labor, Memphis Law Office, employees, unions, and medical/insurance providers.

Inspector (District City Inspection Team) 2002-2003
Conducted week-long inspections and reviews of postal offices throughout the Central Florida District, including employee, management, and overall office performance. Served on a seven-member team that certified acceptable productivity and workflow. Ensured that operational guidelines were aligned with the organization; trained and instructed managers and supervisors in leadership techniques.
