I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of South Carolina and an ABA Paralegal Certificate in Corporations from the National Center for Paralegal Training in Atlanta, Georgia. As my resume indicates, I have over 20 years in the legal industry in various positions with increasing responsibilities. In particular, I have significant in house counsel experience with a private equity company where I wore many hats. I managed the corporate records, prepared procedures for document retention and destruction, responsible for litigation holds and document productions in response to subpoenas and complaints, participated in transactions, risk management and SEC filings. In addition, I have litigation experience including product liability and class actions as well as an international patent infringement arbitration. I am currently Amberly Law as a Litigation and Trial Consultant an antitrust trial in the EDVA now on appeal in the 4th Circuit. Prior to this job I was the Legal Analyst Manager at Freddie Mac. I am computer literate and well versed in using legal research tools. I have a well-rounded legal background and feel that I would be a strong asset to your legal team.
