Previous experience in Engineering and Drafting as well as R & D. Ability to provide technical support to engineering staff, determine critical factors in design components based on knowledge of previous design, conduct testing of completed units under operational condition and to interpret engineering drawings/specifications. Also knowledgeable in material characteristics that affect the strength and performance in extreme environments and how the performance characteristics affect design factors such as ease of manufacturing and availability of materials execute testing plans and objectives schedules and resources of incoming raw material testing. Prepare direct and review preparations of prototype products or system layouts and detailed drawings, assembly drawings and schematics by coordinating with designers, drafters and other engineering staff to interpret the customer’s functional requirements. Working knowledge of injection molding process and effects of mold design on the overall parts cost performance and appearance. Have worked in many different environments from oil platforms, shipyards and refineries. Hands-on conversions of vehicle to alternate fuels and also drawn up installation schematics for conversion kits. Knowledgeable in AutoCAD , BIM ,RIVET, INVENTOR , PHOTOSHOP, INNOVATOR, working knowledge of all office programs necessary to perform my duties as an engineer designer, and of applied physics, and comprehension of building codes and regulations.
