Senior Living Director - 15 years

I am currently the Memory Care Director of a facility that houses up to 50 residents. My ALF CORE TRAINING CERTIFICATION enables me to utilize my expertise to consistently increase the quality of life in senior communities. I am able to achieve this through planning, organizing and developing the functions of the Memory Care Unit. I understand, adhere to, and enforce the standards, guidelines and regulations set forth by the facility and the federal and state governments which have resulted in a 100% deficiency free community. I have demonstrated leadership abilities to recruit, build and retain top-performing care teams which results in satisfied families. My experience includes certification by the State of Florida to teach and certify Alzheimer’s I, II, and updates. I hold certification by the Alzheimer’s Association as a Caregiver Facilitator. As well, I am a nationally certified Activity Professional (specialization in Memory Care). In 2011 I was a guest speaker at the Annual Geriatric Conference at USF Institute Health Byrd’s Alzheimer’s Center. My objective is to secure a position as an Executive Director or equivalent.
