Description
Throughout my 33+ years of Petroleum Engineering experience, I have worked at the staff, supervisory and upper management levels within large and small production companies. I have worked within and over Production, Reservoir and Facilities Engineering departments; having designed and implemented projects throughout the world in both oil and gas producing fields. Currently, I am acting as the Engineering Manager / President for a small company in North Houston, responsible for the reservoir, operations, and planning of all of K3 Oil and Gas’s interests in Kansas, Guatemala, Texas and other operations / projects. It is a management as well as a hands-on role, needed for the design, implementation and achievement of this small company’s production and financial goals in Kansas and Guatemala. Prior to K3 Oil, I have worked with Apache Corporations, Talisman, The Williams companies, as well as in banking firms. My most recent assignments have been with Bruington Engineering, Ltd consulting; where I conducted reservoir studies, well stimulation/optimization projects, business management and field study work for large and small independent clients. Before this, I retired from Apache O&G, where I had been stationed in Egypt; my position being the company’s General Manager of Apache's Qarun Company PSC. The position allowed me to manage 1,100 personnel as well as organized all facets of company’s concession engineering and corporate financial goals. In 3+ years, the Qarun concession grew from 21,000 BOPD to 34,000 BOPD. This was possible using my years of diverse engineering experience while drawing upon the worldwide areas and fields I have had the opportunity to work within. I am a team player, a motivator, and through both my US and international experience, one who knows how to get projects done.
