Lamine Hamdad is a Web Designer/Developer and Database Systems Engineer. With more than 10 years of experience he brings expertise in today’s latest technologies. WEB & INFORMATION SYSTEMS DEVELOPMENT Lamine Hamdad has contracted his services for non-profit organizations and the private sector on front-end development, handling clientele, establishing projects’ definition, designing websites’ wireframes, layouts, using codes that are 508 compliant, functionality/usability, and managing deadlines and budgets. PROJECT MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT While consulting as the International Development Programs Coordinator and IS Solutions with the National US-Arab Chamber of Commerce (NUSACC) in Washington, DC, he developed the protocols of use of the Chamber’s new Content Management System (CMS) website, designed user and technical documentation, updated their online Memberships Database, and supervised the Arabic and French translations and publication of all online PDF documents and related material to his assigned project. He also created a Decision Support System under MS Excel to assist the comparison and selection process of hotel and transportation bids. With great negotiation skills that he honed while studying Trading Techniques at the National Algerian Chamber of Commerce (CACI) and the Chamber of Commerce of Meurthe-et-Moselle, Nancy, France. Skills that turned out to be very efficient to NUSACC’s project. He solicited participant interest from more than a hundred individuals and companies across Algeria, Egypt, Libya and Morocco. He negotiated the hotel deals for hosting, conferences, meals, training facilities, and galas and managed the project’s budget. TRANSLATION SERVICES Fluent in three languages, Mr. Hamdad provides translation services for live interviews and bi-lingual publications. He has proofread the Smithsonian’s department Monitoring and Assessing Biodiversity program’s publication “Gamba, Gabon: Biodiversity of an equatorial African rainforest." During the earlier stages of the Syrian crisis in 2011, he provided real-time interpretation between an interviewer and interviewee from NPR’s studios their reporter on the phone and translated simultaneously in French, Arabic, and English.
