• Over Seven years of professional testing experience. • Have experience in Manual, Database SQL, SOA Web Service testing using Water Fall and Agile methodology. • QA experience in all phases of software life cycle, including QA Test Management, requirements gathering, Defect tracking management and Reporting. • Experience in defining Testing Methodologies, Designing Test Plans and Test Cases, Verifying and Validating Web based, Desktop and Client Server applications and Documentation based on standards for Software Development and effective QA implementation in all phases of Software Development Life Cycle. • Software Testing course Certification from ISTQB Foundation Certification, INS 21 – Property and Liability Insurance principles • Have completed Cognizant internal certifications which includes Life Insurance, General Insurance, Manlog L0 and Supply chain management • Experience in implementing and administering QA best practices. • Expertise in performing different types of Manual Testing includes System, Integration and Regression testing • Having experience in working with technologies like WSDL, SOAP, XML, XPath and Web Services. • Have experience in working with QTP • Excellent interpersonal & customer interaction skills, proven communication and presentation skills. • Worked for Centrica, Ameriprise, Crawford, Geico ATLAS, Torus Insurance, Farmers Insurance and Chubb CSI Testing projects • have gained and exhibited strong domain knowledge in Manlog, Reinsurance, Claims and Property & Casualty Insurance • In-depth product knowledge in Duck creek and Guide wire products • Have knowledge on Web service (SOAP UI), H2H (Host to Host) connectivity • Good knowledge in Unix basics and investigating server logs
