Network IT Support Specialist

To whom it may concern, My name is Albert Sanchez Jr. I am currently employed through Foster Wheeler USA at the BP Whiting Refinery Modernization Project. Foster Wheeler is a global engineering and construction company and power equipment supplier, similar to Flour. Currently I am the onsite IT Network and Telecommunications technical support specialist, supporting all IT A+. Network +, Server Administration issues, and building additional rack closets with switches, fiber, routers and patch panels along with keeping communications from our satellite location at Whiting, Indiana to our corporate location in Houston. I am a project hire and the project will be ending soon, and I am now seeking employment in a similar field of Power, Oil and Construction. We (Foster Wheeler) have worked alongside of Flour and they also support one of our base office with voice PBX networking. While being at Foster Wheeler and advancing very quickly, I have also worked with our I&E department, installing and configuring programmable logic cards into the MCC’s to communicate with our SCADA for the PDC (Power Distribution Center), then I worked in the field collecting data out of 187 Rotork remote control valves using a toughbook and infrared dongle. My final support was using my electrical engineering background for Instrumentation, to help our I&E group. I set up a mock video network for their security CCTV’s, throughout the plant, then implemented it throughout the refinery. I’m looking for a job that will challenge me and keep me learning.
