Chinese and Vietnamese interpreter translator, real estate broker, contract negotiation
I would like to apply for a multi-lingual position. I am fluent in Vietnamese and Chinese (both Mandarin and Cantonese). I used to speak Cantonese at home with my parents. I used to study in Taiwan. After the marriage with my ex-wife from Beijing in 1986 I have been speaking Mandarin with her and my children since then. I got my Master degree in Vietnam and used to teach in colleges there. I attended the Graduate School of Political Warfare Science in Taiwan. I studied law full time in law school in Los Angeles for one year. I used to study in graduate school at Southern Illinois at Carbondale (PhD student). I passed the written part of the court interpreter test about two months ago but I wish to work in business or commercial field because I have been a real estate and mortgage broker working with Vietnamese and Chinese clients who do not speak much English for over 25 years. Due to my personal market condition I have not been very active in real estate since 2011. I am tired of looking for clients and driving around showing properties for months without income. I did not know about the career as interpreter until about 4 months ago and I got very excited about this new career. I know I will enjoy a lot working in the multi-lingual field. I hope to have a chance to work for your company.
