Manages community outreach programs. Manages a non-profit advocacy group to represent: James Creek, Syphax Gardens, Greenleaf Gardens, and Greenleaf Extension. * Serves as the liaison between local universities, state and local governments and community leadership in an effort to provide vocational training, employment assistance, health services, housing services, and family counseling services. * Responsible for developing, providing oversight, monthly analysis and manages the project budgets ensuring efficient and effective use of resources. * Responsible for managing program budget of $300k per fiscal year. * Responsible for day-to-day activities of the Community Resource Center including case management, crisis intervention, educational programming, substance abuse prevention, professional development and vocational training. * Develops short and long range goals and objectives for community related conflict resolution programs. * Developed an evidence-based curriculum to assist with transformation efforts. * Provides guidance for instructional strategies and learning experiences that motivates low-income District residents to critically examine personal perspectives, thoughtfully consider new arguments that support health-promoting attitudes and values, and generate positive perceptions about protective behaviors and negative perceptions about risk behaviors.
