Dear Humana Human Resource Team, I have managed a sales team for ESSI security out of Toledo, Ohio and trained employees to become qualified servers. When in charge of my team’s location and closing of sales, our team put out the highest numbers in the company during that time. I am a highly motivated individual with great interpersonal, innovative, and leadership skills. I also interned at the Toledo ProMedica Hospital in the summer of 2012. I performed many tasks while interning at the Toledo ProMedica Hospital. My team completed the August 2012 RN residency program hiring over 150 nurses in a timely fashion. This included screening the candidates, setting up the interview, interviewing, scoring the candidates, running the background checks, checking the references and offering the job. I also worked with the Lawson and SharePoint systems to maintain candidates’ information. This was priceless experience. While attending Lourdes University, I also worked as a server. I have maintained a GPA of 3.52, working 35 to 40 hours a week, finishing all assignments, test, quizzes, and case studies during this time. I have worked with people of many different ages, genders, cultures, and backgrounds. In doing so, I have learned that interpersonal skills, building relationships, and communication are extremely important in any business setting. In my last semester, I lead a group project on the Affordable Care Act and how it will affect Medicare beneficiaries, using a power point presentation approach. The group received a perfect score on this project and I would be glad to share it with you. Being a server taught me how to multi-task during extreme situations and how deal with customers and their many assortments of personalities.
