Project Manager - 20 years experience - Illionis

Hello, I am seeking a project manager position at your company. I am a field-technical architect with 20 plus years of experience in construction project management. The variety of projects that I have worked on has enabled me to be malleable to the challenges that accompany both new and existing construction projects. My technical experience ranges from development of project manuals to scheduling, estimating, bidding/negotiating and construction administration. I have been working as an independent consultant for various clients. While this has been both challenging and rewarding, I prefer to leverage my skills by contributing them to a broader team, and seek to return to employment with a well-established company. My experience in construction administration further includes the following: • Managing contractors and subcontractors • Designing & developing project scope of work and objectives • Creating sections and details of working drawings • Scheduling • Soliciting bids, estimating, and negotiating • Coordinating project phases with building departments, including approvals and permits • Reporting on and updating project processes • Managing construction project meetings • Preparing change orders • Overseeing project deliverables & tracking projects to a successful completion I’m licensed in Illinois, New York and Florida.
