Accomplishments: Respond/written an RFP to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, (FDIC) a department of US Government on behalf of INTERISE, for a grant to support small businesses in developing business plans and improving management/leadership. Program evaluation of Somerville Continuum of Care Programs on fighting Homelessness, funded by Housing and Urban Development. (HUD) Placed international students in homes and schools in MA, and involved in designing an international conference on social media and music for all to take place in Boston in 2014. Designing and Implementing an Equity training curriculum for Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) and Action for Regional Equity, a network of 11 non-profits, and trained 100 community residents of Greater Boston Area in Equity and Leadership for development funded by the sustainable communities project-HUD Consultant: Sept 2010 - July 2012 Centre for Social policy: Impact evaluation on educational attainment for homeless women funded by the Fiarman Foundation and evaluation of impact of financial literacy on lives of low social economic status women funded by the Greater Boston Interfaith organization (GBIO. Developed a training curriculum and trained 100 community residents of Greater Boston Area in Equity and Leadership for development, and oversaw the whole process from design, implementation and evaluation of the project. Racial and Economic Justice work in US Sept 2010 to July 2012 Accomplishments: Designing and developing the concept of an annual publication, including the content, and lead a team to work on the various aspects of the task. Researching, co-authoring, and ensuring that the publication of the State of the Dream, the 2011 and 2012 editions, an annual publication about the status of racial economic justice in the USA. Bringing disparate researchers and writers together, helping communicate a shared vision for the project. Serving as a media spokesperson, fielding radio and print interviews about the topics of the state of the dream publication.
