To utilize my current skills in the area of social services, and customer services while assisting in the care and needs of residence patient. My goal is to provide services to a facility to make a positive difference in the overall work atmosphere as I increase with my on the jobs skills and techniques. Responsible for maintaining a safe and supportive environment which fosters growth and rehabilitation and facilitates the development of mutual aid/self help individuals. Recognize when an individual is in a crisis and be able to utilize the appropriate psychiatric and medical needs. Duties: Assist/Monitor/teach individuals with preparation of daytime activities encourage personal hygiene attend behavior patterns in home with clients. * Assist Direct Care Supervisor in the assessment of each individuals (s) abilities, interest and need of independent living. * Assist/monitor/ teach client how to budget * Teach self medication skills according to DMR regulations, and when appropriate supervise in medication administration. * Handle emergency situations appropriately, utilize crisis intervention necessary.
