Manufacturing/Process Engineer and Product/Process Develoment

Hi: It’s my interest be part of a good company in Durham/Raleigh area and makes available my abilities, knowledge in the Mechanical Engineering and experience in Projects Management. I have experience in the Process and Manufacturing Engineering area. In the past I lead a small Product Development group and supports new product developments by managing the prototype hardware builds process, providing timely product and qualification/validations inputs throughout the design cycle process, assist in defining and developing product structure, and coordinate efforts within manufacturing for the transition to full scale production. Typical activities include: • Preparation of product specific documentation: DHF, including cost estimates, schedules, and manufacturing plans. • Participation in the design process by providing timely Design For Manufacturability and Testability input. • Management of the prototype hardware build process including material procurement, build schedule development, coordination of hardware builds at contract manufacturers, and post-build product and test ability feedback. • Transition of product into production incorporating all specifications necessary to process and tests to achieve the yields and volume as specified in the Manufacturing Plan.
