Building corporate value by helping companies reduce the total cost of ownership is my expertise and main objective. My experience in purchasing and inventory control operations in Latin America and the U.S. has been invaluable especially with the ability to speak both English and Spanish. I work with stakeholders to design, implement and/or improve supply processes for strategic commodities or services. Over the years I have —  Obtained savings through vendor management and contract negotiation.  Improved Purchasing and Inventory Control Departments' operations by establishing best practices, appropriate policies and procedures, monitoring relevant KPIs, and taking needed action to improve results.  Gained experience in local and global Vendor Management and Contract/SLA Negotiation in the U.S. and Latin America to support supply chain activities.  Acquired a global understanding of purchasing and inventory control functions and processes and how they relate to accounting and internal and external customers.  Found the best way to fit/use systems such as ERP (SAP and ORACLE) and related modules (SRM, E-Sourcing and BI) with the company's operations considering internal and external customers, purchasing, material logistics and accounting points of view.  Objectively measured purchasing and material logistics' internal and external performance by establishing appropriate KPI and improving processes to make their operations more efficient.
