Major Responsibilities
I am familiar with and have performed the following tests; Enzyme-linked immunosorbant assays (ELISA), Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), Quantitative Real-Time PCR (Q-RT-PCR, on the ABI 7000/7500), Respiratory Virus Panel testing (Luminex), DNA Analysis using Capillary Electrophoresis (on the ABI 3130xl in conjunction with GeneMapper Software), RNA (for BCR/ABL and PML testing) and DNA extractions using the QIAGEN QIAcube, MagNA Pure Nucleic Acid Isolations, QIAGEN EZ-1 nucleic acid isolations, QIAGEN Symphony isolations, and Western Blots. In addition to AlloMap sample processing for molecular expression testing, I have also performed PCR with fragment analysis using the QIAGEN QIAxcel. Lastly, in addition to rodent blood collection, I have successfully completed intradermal, intramuscular, and subcutaneous injections on Balb/c mice.
