Having had over 30 years in all phases of the architectural profession, I am looking to become established as a lead architect in an architectural or architectural/engineering firm in the Washington D.C. area, working on commercial, institutional or governmental projects. I am looking to become established as an integral part of the design team working with other disciplines in order to deliver successful projects.

I served as the architectural discipline lead coordinating the different facets of projects, from schematic design through construction administration. I feel I am expert in construction detailing and I am also very well versed in the construction phases of projects, revieiwing submittal, answering RFIs and helping to resolve complex problems arising during the construction phase. I have helped successfully deliver several projects for the Army National Guard, the Army reserve and several other governmental agencies. The projects ranged in size from several million dollars to 50 million dollars. I have also served as an expert reviewer for independent reviews of other A/E projects for the architectural discipline. I have been instrumental in establishing and maintaining design budgets and in material selections to help to keep the project within budget. I have done numerous site observations to ensure that projects were being built in accordance with the design intent and to ensure good constructibility practice as well as ensuring that the project is in strict compliance with the contract documents.
