Correspondent

My name is Maria Elsie Salaverria and I’m an international correspondent with over 20 years of experience as a journalist in the United States and Central America. and I would like the opportunity to work with your company in any position that’s available that I could bring my expertise to. I have also experience in direction and production including but not limited to documentaries, entertainment, promotions and special events. I have gained a wide experience during my years at Univision as Bureau Chief and correspondent for the stated regions (10 years). As well as especial assignments for KMEX 34 Los Angeles and other affiliates of that chain such as a correspondent for Noticias y Mas (currently name Primer Impacto) and Al Mediodia (2 years). I’ve also worked for Telemundo as a correspondent from Los Angeles and Central America for shows like Noticiero Telemundo , Occurio Asi, Cara a Cara, and Noticiero KVEA 52 (4 years). I would also like to add that I’m fluent in Spanish, English, and French. For my work I have been recognized as an Emmy Award Best Spot News and special recognition from the United Nations (UN) for my collaboration in the Salvadoran peace process, among others.
