In my present position, I support workgroup High End Color Laser Printers and MFPs from production start through end of life, providing support to the factory, component suppliers worldwide, and function as third level support to back up the call center and customer support technicians. I visit customer offices to “show the flag” and provide on-site support, including hardware and firmware upgrades and obtain first-hand knowledge of end user issues with the product. I specifically provide paper handling and fuser support expertise, and I qualify and release cost reduction, component end of life changes, and correct mid-life design and tolerance issues. In prior positions, I was a Senior Staff Engineer and Mechanical Project Manager, responsible for factory and customer support for all product lines. I supervised three to six engineers and designers, on complex design projects, and earned five plant achievement awards and two Corporate Group awards for professional excellence and exemplary action. I hold twenty-two patents, seven individual, fifteen joint, and six in production. I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University, and have completed numerous company sponsored training programs.
