Projects: Navigation Projects (Maps,and Location data(Location Based Services) Software’s used: Atlas (Bison), ARCGIS 9.3, Probe Viewer. Training at NAVTEQ: Underwent 2 weeks training for 'Basic Specifications and Tools(BST)' on Atlas(Bison) for Geo-Coding(Training as per NAVTEQ Global Standards). Responsibilities: • Geo-Coding Navigationally significant data using NAVTEQ Digitization and Attribution rules. • Spatial orientation; i.e. applying map to “real world” and mapping “real world” observations. • Gap Analysis for Urban and Rular Areas in India. • Quality Check (QC) using various Check lists. Documentation: > Generating Exception Report for Geo exceptions during Geo-Coding. > Generating SOP(Standard Operation Procedure) for a specific project. • As a Geo-Coder Perform Points of Interest (POI) data coding using video drives from Field. • Perform established procedures for in-line quality (QIL) assurance. • Analysing and applying proper attributions like FC Classification, Speed category, Signs, Naming, Roundabouts coding,CRF(Composite Road features), Flyovers, Railroads and RDM's, Natural Guidance and POI Acces Roads, Ramps, Manouvres etc. • Geo-Coding of data using Bing imagery for field verification and again update the Database after field verification.
