SONY & BMG Escheat Project • Handled the maintenance of all reports and documents for 270 SONY and BMG accounts • Responsible for locating recipients of unclaimed royalties through corporate systems and the Internet • Contacted artists, producers and attorneys to retrieve proper documents to update main royalty system • Record, process and deposit payments received from third party deals for all SONY BMG music labels. • Perform routine reconciliation of third party licensing income to general ledger postings • Prepare third party income reports on a monthly basis, and allocate to artist and producers accordingly • Review and analyze artist contracts to determine applicable royalty rates to specific albums and tracks • Maintain daily communication with Finance dept., Business & Legal Affairs and internal royalty departments
