1- Conduct survey to determine training needs. An analysis of the major job requirements (identified in the duties description and performance plan) and related knowledge, skills, and abilities form the basis for setting up an OJT plan. To be most effective, an OJT plan includes: 2- Prepare proposed OJT plan Number of hours; Estimated completion date; Method by which the training will be evaluated, duties list, tasks list for each duty, Task Progression, Job Task Training Duration, Equipment List, master duty task matrix, . task qualification method, unsatisfactory performance report, Need of OJT trainers qualified in different disciplines (operation/maintenance (electrical, instrumentation and mechanical) • Participate in the identification of operating areas requiring qualified technicians to meet varying operating conditions and findings which required training of concerned personnel. • Identifying training and development needs within an organization through job analysis, appraisal schemes and regular consultation with business managers; • Designing and developing training and development training modules based on both the organization's and the individual's needs • Devising individual learning plans; • Producing training materials for in-house courses; • Managing the delivery of training and development programs ; • Monitoring and reviewing the progress of trainees by using questionnaires; • Ensuring that statutory training requirements are met; • Evaluating training and development programs; • Amending and revising programs as necessary, in order to adapt to the changes that occur in the work environment; • Using IT to produce training materials and manuals; Increasingly, e-learning techniques. • Develop modular training and instruction for formal and on the job skills training for theory and practical aspects in support of the individual competence development scheme • Develop and maintain instructor manuals and training material for the new credit delivery system. Training will be developed through hands on classroom. • Help create new content for training materials and activities for training programs and other related training activity
