Secondary School Teacher

I am Professional Educator Licensed from TN Department of Education, and I have 30 Yrs of National and International experience. I recently retired from TN Public School System, and I continuously look for new ways to reach and connect to interested students or clients. My passions are to educate, communicate and create. I constantly renew, and reinvent myself academically in order to meet the challenges of each student's specific needs. Although I was born in Colombia, South America I am fully fluent in both languages: Spanish and English. I have a Degree in Philology and Languages from the National University in Colombia and a MA in Human Science and Education from Atlantic International University. In addition, I have more than 45 Graduate hours from Ole Miss, UT Knoxville and other TN Universities. Following I have included a few Interesting facts about my professional career:: I was initially trained as a translator and interpreter in Geneva, Co author of “Minute Spanish" Published and registered in the Library of Congress in 2004, I worked as a Presenter/trainer in the Americas; I was selected to present innovated approaches to teach languages (Spanish-English) through real art. I was also In charge of designing and teaching the Curriculum for Critical Thinking in Secondary School at MNPS/HHS. Last but not least I was recipient of multiple awards during my professional career including but not limited to: “Biltmore Who is who Professional Educator Achievement” in 2011, Governors Academy for Foreign Languages and I have multiple letters of recognition and awards from several Institutions.
