Description
I began my bibliographic career as a proofreader for the State of Michigan in 1980. Subsequently I began proofreading and editing catalogs for University Microfilms International, which became ProQuest, where I work today as the Humanities Editor for the Dissertations Indexing and Searching department. In my current job I add coding symbols to titles to create indexing and searching keywords, add additional keywords, assign subjects, answer author inquiries, and maintain the school name and language tables in the database.
