Please find attached a copy of my resume indicating my work experience. Also listed below are bullet points of my experience that will benefit your company. 30 years of work experience as a registered project architect and construction administration. I have completed 24 OFSC school projects in a 12 year period. Breaking it down that’s two school openings per year (value 220 million) I am in the process of completing the Genava Cork and Austinburg schools this August. As a construction administrator I have work w/ a number of construction managers such as R P Carpone , URS , Hammond, PCS, Heery and Scaparotti The last 3 years BSHM has recognized prior to bidding that it is beneficial to the cm and architects team to have me review the drawings for constructability and coordination of all the disciplines. I personally sit w/ the BSHM consultants , one engineer at a time and discuss my review comments to insure that the changes are incorporated into the drawings. Consultants drawings include civil , structural , mechanical , plumbing , electrical , and technology . I also review BSHM construction documents . The review process is on going during the CD phase of the project. This process has decreased the amount of Design Clarifications by 60% I have a basic understanding of the Leed process but not an AP at this time When necessary submit field reports to the CM to have the contractors repair their work or remove and do over Respond to the rfi’s --- Request For Information Submit ASI’s when required --- Architectural Supplemental Instructions I communicate directly with the owners or their project representative Responsible to review the general trades shop submittals Responsible for reviewing and signing all changes orders , along with pay applications Represent BSHM on field disputes Represent BSHM at all job meetings When it comes to resolving field issue I concentrate my energies on the solution rather than pointing blame. I Communicate w/ the local authorities for permits and inspection / occupancy permits I coordinate with the primary contractors as far as scope and scheduling of work. I generate the punch list and follow up to make sure the work is completed as contracted As a project architect , I direct the in house cadd operators their responsibility and schedules. My primary responsibility is specializing in Construction Administration working with the private sector, local, state and federal governments. In the past 12 years I have been responsible for site observation and administration of over 292 million dollars of construction. I also review the construction documents for correctness and constructability prior to the bidding process. During the construction phase of the project, the Owner, Contractors and BSHM Consultants communicate directly with me. On the OSFC (Ohio School facilities Commission) projects, the construction manager’s on site staff communicates directly with me on construction issues.
