I currently manage the self-insurance program for one of the largest public school systems in the United States. Our program consists of 1,600 workers' compensation, general liability, auto liability and property claims. In addition, I oversee the performance of our third party claims administrator and outside legal firm to ensure all claims and lawsuits are handled appropriately. My duties also include securing the system's commerical property, boiler and machinery and crimes insurance policies.
