Maintains close liaison with the Human Resources Branch in order to coordinate and expedite all administrative/personnel actions in a timely manner. Monitors and tracks all division actions providing assistance/advice to division and branch managers submitting such requests. Generates and monitors documentation for the accomplishment of all administrative actions for the division. Ensures completeness accuracy and adequacy of documentation and alerts supervisors and employees when further action must be taken. Provides advice interpretation and guidance to division personnel both management and employees on all 2 administrative matters. Supervises two employees performing managerial assistance mail and filing training typing and a full range of administrative support functions. Plans the full range of personnel management duties to include planning for workload accomplishment establishing priorities employee development scheduling and approving leave assignment and review of work and adherence to personnel programs and regulatory requirements. Establishes performance standards and advises subordinates of required quantity and quality of work. Renders formal appraisals of performance. Provides guidance and counseling to employees when problems arise involving performance and discipline. Certifies time and attendance for civilian employees. Resolves informal complaints and recommends disciplinary action as required. Participates in selection of subordinate staff. Works with Union Stewards to coordinate actions that fall within the purview of negotiated agreement. Collaborates with personnel specialists in the CPAC CPOC and MEDCOM in finding solutions to management problems arising due to changes in mission requirements that have an impact on jobs and employees.
