In the past year in a half I have grown a passion for student development. I played one year of collegiate football. It definitely was not easy balancing football, class, workout sessions, film sessions and homework. I truly felt it was not enough time in a day. With that being said I have a passion to help student-athletes' rather they are at-risk or not. I want them to be just successful in the classroom and focus on their future in their field of study as we know there is a small percentage that goes on to play professional sports. Every since my undergraduate years I have always been hands on working with students' and now that I finally found where my heart is at and I will do whatever it takes for them to succeed. As they are students' first and it is not about me, but it is about them. When I help someone out or succeed in some form then I feel as if I succeeded as well. Larry strives to help others succeed in all aspects of life.
