With 10 years of transactional and general accounting experience, I have a deep knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). I have a proven ability to manage complex projects, advise at a senior level and to lead a team in such a way as to provide a highly professional support service. My other personal attributes include effective team leadership, motivational, multitasking, relationship building and excellent interpersonal skills. Since April 2008, I have been working as a financial controller for the power generations department at Api Group (service stations and other oil products). My duties as strategic planner involve determining the future direction of the company, on an annual or longer term basis, through the formulation of strategies and by proposing changes or improvements to management with regard to business strategies, policies, and procedures. Basic steps include assessing the company’s environment and resources, defining the mission and vision, identifying priorities and objectives, and selecting valuable strategies. By devising feasible recommendations for optimizing near-term growth, the executive management subsequently plots the long-term direction of the organization.
