SUMMARY: I have over 38 years of professional engineering experience including 20+ years nuclear construction, management, operations, plant support, design/constructability reviews, engineering, process testing, project management, start-up and safety oversight. Duties included direct oversight of system operations, system optimization, procedures, operator training and qualifications. Over 6 years as a Construction Manager on the Mixed Oxide (MOX) Project at Savannah River Site (SRS) and over 7 years in SRS NNSA Tritium operations as a Senior Facility Representative. Extensive experience with civil structures, electrical, HVAC, I&C. and piping systems commodities including design and construction, installation, modifications in accordance with national codes and standards including ACI, IBC, and OSHA. Performed job hazard analysis for operations and construction activities and developed installation/modification work instructions and work plans. performing piping system installation and testing utilizing SRNS specific processes programs procedures and systems. Work assignments also include experience in the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Keyport Naval Undersea Warfare Engineering Station industrial settings as a project engineer. Assignments have included design operations oversight and construction oversight directing craft workers project design scoping cost estimating negotiations and program management.
