Laboratory Technician

I have obtained Bachelor’s Degree in Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. I acquired lab experience in basic laboratory techniques, isolation, cultivation, and cultural characteristics of microorganisms through my Microbiology course. In Genetics, I learned techniques such as polymerase chain reaction and electrophoresis. I also obtained experience working in a chemistry and biotechnology lab. At Boston Road Animal Hospital I had various responsibilities throughout the facility. In addition with working with the general population, I also worked independently in the lab performing blood and urine analysis along with blood smears and stains for multiple doctors, and acquired experience running total chemistry’s, using the CBC, Analyst, and Vet Test machines. My experience working at Bert Hill Movers as an office manager reinforced my abilities to work independently as well as with other employees. Also, working first hand with the customers gave me strong customer service skills on and off the phone.
