Successfully transformed the division into a customer service and results driven unit by identifying and addressing operational weaknesses, assessing and re-training staff, developing and monitoring performance metrics, and eradicating staff resistance to process, procedural and cultural changes. * Wayne County - Promoted to director of the purchasing. Led an initial team of 29 staff members. Motivated the team and improved morale by successfully establishing opportunities for career advancement by assessing and updating job classifications and positions to appropriately reflect the complexity of various duties within the division. As a result, staff productivity increased by 18% over a one year period. PROJECT MANAGEMENT * New Center Community Services - Led the vendor evaluation, selection, and contract negotiation phases of the Electronic Health Record System Implementation Project. Successfully established timelines and milestones, which enabled the team to select and secure the most qualified vendor within the respective timeline. * New Center Community Services - Served as the Electronic Health Record Implementation Project Sponsor. Provided oversight and leadership of the project direction and working closely with other key stakeholders to ensure the project direction is clearly communicated and ultimately adopted by the managers and members of the organization.
