I am submitting my resume and cover letter for this position. I have been recently employed for 7 ½ years by the Glide Memorial Church/Glide Foundation as the Department Manager for the (TAES) Training and Employment Services. In the course of my duties, I have been responsible for the all aspects of the TAES Department which resulted in the supports the design and implementation of systems, policies, and procedures to reflect workforce development promising practices; I have been responsible for the leadership and development of the Recruitment, Intake and Assessment Policy and Curriculum Development and Instruction of the Life Skills and Job Readiness Training for over 15 years with Glide, Asian Neighborhood Design and the State of Colorado. With the TAES Department, my duties included serving as advocate for graduates in the job search process, reporting client information and outcomes as well as job placement and retention. While employed at Glide, the population which we worked with was residents from San Francisco and the Greater Bay Area. Glide provided Vocational, High School Educational Program in partnership with John Muir Charter High School, Case Management and Employment Placement. My duties included developing all policies and procedures relating to case management and program development, job development and placement, database development, the yearly work plans, program compliance to funders, prepare and submit Monthly, Quarterly and Annual reports, as well as financial management for all programs.
