With a lengthy career in the publication and documentation field, working in various capacities and industries, I have considerable experience as a desktop publisher, editor, designer, and graphics specialist. With a sharp eye for detail, I am skilled in many software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite applications (e.g., MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Outlook), the following Adobe products: Acrobat Pro, Illustrator, Photoshop, Framemaker; and QuarkXpress. I have talent and skills in page layout, formatting, copy and technical editing, writing, design, graphics, file conversion, generating tables of contents, cross-referencing, hyperlinking, and creating bookmarked pdf files. I am always striving to keep up with technology and motivated to acquire new skills in order to do so. I am a team player and am a dependable employee that you can count on to get the job done. I am currently at risk with my present position at CSC because the government contract I work on will be ending soon. I live in the Dulles corridor and finding employment within close proximity would be ideal.
