Nuclear Medicine PET/CT Technologist
I am nuclear medicine PET/CT technologist; I studied it in college and have been working at it for over 25 years. Even though I am an experienced technologist, I am open to all offers, in order to be working in my chosen field. I am single and can travel or relocate as necessary. I have worked in supervisory and managerial positions and most recently worked for a physician group to get their PET CT and nuclear medicine practice up and going from a concept to a fully functioning department. I am certified by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board, and have a current BLS CPR card. I am aware of all aspects of the field from radiation safety issues to billing and coding. Working as a manager I dealt with all the customer service issues, including patients, referring physicians, radiologists, coworkers, and other departments. I have successfully gone through many NRC, State and Joint commission surveys; and had a fully accredited ACR department. As manager, I was also the PACS administrator and took the department form an old Siemens system to being cloud based with new radiologist and referring physician viewing stations. I am up for any challenge and am ready to get back to work; I had received a 6 month severance package so have taken several months off and am now recharged and ready to work.
