Registered Nurse
I would like to continue moving into the medical field with the skills I already possess as a Registered Nurse with uncommon customer service abilities that really reach my patients and their families needs. I also have other accomplishments to companion, such as communication skills both public speaking and writing, presentation preparation and presentation on a variety of subjects for small and large groups. My style of leadership has always been that I have expectations for my staff to meet certain levels of care for the patients. I am strict, but I am also fair. I don't scream at my people in the hallways in front of patients or thier families as I have seen other leaders do in my past. I take the offends aside in a quiet area and say, "what is wrong with this picture?" They know what the problem is and after the discussion I tell them I don't want to have another talk like this again as it will lead to greater problems for them and I usually do not have problems with that person again. They are usually new employees "testing the waters." Even though they are told what I am like as a supervisor, some still want to try me on for size.
