RssManagement, Training, Education and Leader Development- 20 years experience

I am retiring after serving 21 years in the Army and am looking for a vibrant, second career that capitalizes on my strengths and provides a challenge. I am a hard working, dedicated person who is a great teammate and asset to any organization. Most recently, I completed four years as the Professor of Military Science (Army ROTC) at the University of Illinois-Chicago. My primary responsibilities included serving as Department Head, developing the academic and leadership skills of 250 cadets at UIC, and supervising 25 adjunct instructors and staff at one of the largest organizations of its type in the country. Among the most important credentials are: -- 21 years of career experience: leading and training organizations from Platoon to Battalion level -- As an officer in the US Army, I possess substantial leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills, that have been tested under the most extreme conditions. --Bachelor’s Degree: I earned a BS in Educational Studies from Vanderbilt in 1990. --Master’s Degree: I earned an MA in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in 2002. --Experience in handling complex tasks: The coordination of training and academic support for cadets required clear communication and interaction with multiple college administrators.
