Project Manager/Business Analyst

I am looking for opportunities primarily in the Greater Austin-San Antonio, Chicago or Nashville markets but will consider other areas. My ideal role is going to be one where personal interaction and relationship building are important parts of the position. I find enjoyment in solving issues; this might involve helping end users find better and easier ways to use software or my project team overcome hurdles that inevitably always pop up. While I am comfortable and knowledgeable in a variety of project management disciplines or philosophies I believe that the best approach to a project is being flexible to recognize the needs of the project, clients and project team over process for process sake. I am always a fan of empowering people to work smarter, not harder but am also a strong believer of process and documentation to facilitate this. Throughout my career, the one quality that has been useful in every position is the ability to understand the point of view of people coming from both technical and non-technical backgrounds and to help them understand each other
